The Sandhills Motoring Expo will take place annually over Memorial Day Weekend from Friday through Sunday. We have a variety of events lined up all culminating in the Sunday Concours in the Village taking place in the historic Village of Pinehurst from 9am until 3pm.
The Sunday Concours in the Village is open to the general public for spectators, no admission charge!
FRIDAY, MAY 24th, 2024
Hagerty Drivers Club Cocktail Party : 4:30pm – 6:00pm

The Hagerty Drivers Club gets the evening rolling with a special, invite-only cocktail party, featuring delectable bites, adult beverages, and a welcome to Drivers Club members as they help usher in and celebrate the commencement of the Sandhills Motoring Expo!

Located in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst, the Expo will welcome all entrants and sponsors Friday evening for an informal car show featuring special display cars, cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a live band at the world famous Pine Crest Inn.

Join us for Cars and Coffee “On The Ramp”. This event is limited to 100 cars. Enjoy the camaraderie of other automobile enthusiasts and view the launch of the Expo Road Rally and planes taking flight!

The Sandhills Motoring Expo takes on the back roads of the local area with the Expo Road Rally. The Rally courses through the Sandhills area, providing challenging questions, and a tour of the countryside. The rally finishes at the Pine Crest Inn in the Village of Pinehurst with a cookout lunch.
Artisan Tour: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Tour Destination: 100 Russell Drive, Star, NC
Our Artisan Tour and judged Car Show will be at Starworks in Star, North Carolina, about a 1 hour drive from the Village of Pinehurst. Starworks is unique and features artwork from more than 30 international artists. Their passion is using fire to create incredible works of art, including glass, ceramics and metal. We will have a hot glass demonstration and see how art is crafted.
Hangar Soiree: 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Saturday evening features the Expo Hangar Soiree at the Moore County Airport’s Main Hangar along with a catered dinner by Elliott’s on Linden, exotic cars, and airplanes on display. Come celebrate the Expo in style!
