How often do you get to do something special for your spouse or a good friend when you attend a
concours weekend? This is your chance to spend some quality and fun time together while attending
a special event that is unique to this part of North Carolina!

Our Artisan Tour and judged Car Show will be at Starworks  in Star, North Carolina,
about a 1-hour drive from the Village of Pinehurst. Starworks features artwork
from more than 30 international artists. Their passion is using fire to create incredible works of art,
including glass, ceramics and metal. We will have a hot glass demonstration and see how art is
crafted. Their gallery is large with many unique pieces on display and for sale.

We have two tours and a judged car show:
Our first tour is from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Depart Pine Crest Inn at 8:30am, arrive at 9:30am
Our second tour is from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Depart Pinecrest Inn at 10:30am, arrive at 11:30am
The cars in the second tour should be onsite by 11:30 for the car show. Lunch with local craft beers
and the car show are onsite from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The car show is judged and a trophy from Starworks will be awarded to best-in-show during the
Concours awards presentation on Sunday.

Starworks Glass is a public access glass studio that offers rental space for glass artists, classes and workshops for the general public, a resident artist and internship program, and high school and college glass curriculum. In addition to fundraisers like our Pumpkin Patch and Holiday Market, Starworks Glass also holds $5 demonstrations on the second Thursday of each month (Sept-May) at Hot Glass Cold Beer
