Steve Redwine, Senior Vice President

Steve Redwine is a North Carolina native and having lived all over the United States, he knows that “NC IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE”! Steve has been a “car guy” all of his life and it started at 6 years old when his father took him for a drive in his red MGTD! Steve is Past President of the Triangle Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. He is also a member of the Porsche Club of America plus a member of countless other car clubs all of his adult life.

Steve has had several careers or “lives” as he calls it. He was in the wholesale Men’s Apparel business for 25 years and rose to the position of VP of Sales and National Sales manager in New York for Christian Dior and VP-National Sales Manager for Dockers Footwear. Then he and his business partner founded Atlantic Documentation Center, Inc. an international printing company in the Research Triangle Park. As President, he led ADC, Inc. to become an INC 500 company and after 10 years of high growth, sold the company. Although “officially retired”, he is now Partner and Vice President of RAMS, Inc. in Tampa, Florida. He is still looking forward to total retirement one of these days.

Wilbur Strickland, Chief Judge

Wilbur Strickland picked up his passion for cars – and for the people associated with them – from his Dad. Years ago, they rebuilt the engine in Wilbur’s first car, a 1965 VW Beetle, and he hasn’t stopped messing around with cars since. Anyone who’s ever rebuilt an engine knows the sheer joy of that first ignition start after working long days and nights with wrenches, oil and gas! As an avid car collector, Wilbur’s devotion to that long-gone VW Beetle is now shared across several cars.

Wilbur is active across a number of car-related associations, including Porsche Club of America (PCA), Ferrari Club of America (FCA), Automobile Club Italia (ACI), Lowcountry Oyster & Motorcar Driving Society (LOMDS), Palmetto Drivers Syndicate, Oglethorpe Driving Club and Carolina Dreamers Car Club. He can be spotted at events such as The Amelia, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, The Quail, Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance, Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance, Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, Motorlux, Werks Reunion Amelia / Monterey, Mille Miglia and many more.

Wilbur is also active in motorsports, and holds race / competition licenses with Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR), Vintage Drivers Club of America (VDCA) and Automobile Club Italia (ACI). He’s also a certified Porsche Club of America High-Performance Driver Education (HPDE) instructor, and gets a real kick out of helping students fully enjoy themselves and their cars as they safely master the complexities of the race line, braking and acceleration.
