Sandhills Motoring Expo Welcomes Back Brad Phillips as Grand Marshall & Emcee for 2026
PINEHURST, N.C. (February 20, 2026) — The Sandhills Motoring Expo is pleased to announce that Brad Phillips will return as Grand Marshall and Emcee for the 2026 Sandhills Motoring Expo, bringing his signature blend of automotive expertise, pace, and personality back to Pinehurst for another unforgettable year.
A lifelong car enthusiast and respected automotive professional, Phillips has built an impressive career spanning specialty insurance, collectible automobile sales, museum management, and the creation and promotion of rally and touring events across the United States. Brad is currently the Director of Events for Coker Group, responsible for planning and executing the Great Race, a 2400 mile time/speed/endurance rally series, in which he has competed since 2008. Widely recognized for his ability to connect with collectors, entrants, and spectators alike, he is known for keeping programs moving smoothly while elevating the storytelling behind the cars and the people who steward them.
Phillips has served as Emcee and Co-Emcee for prestigious events nationwide, including the Boca Raton Concours, the Concours of America, the Greenwich Concours, the Saratoga Auto Auctions, the St. Michaels Concours, and many others. As a seasoned panel moderator and livestream host, he brings a polished on-stage presence, deep familiarity with the collector-car world, and an approachable, quick-witted style that audiences instantly enjoy.
“Brad’s professionalism, knowledge, and natural rapport with enthusiasts are exactly what make the Sandhills Motoring Expo feel both world-class and welcoming,” said Christopher D. Smith, Expo Commissioner. “We’re excited to have him back in 2026 to help lead the weekend and celebrate the remarkable automobiles – and the people – that make this event special.”
Phillips is also an active enthusiast behind the wheel, with a personal stable that includes a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera, a 1960 Austin-Healey ‘Bugeye’ Sprite, and a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. His experience extends far beyond his garage, having built and driven everything from a 1916 Hudson to modern supercars.
“The Sandhills Expo is one of my absolute favorite events,” says Brad, “the blend of great cars, wonderful people, and the fantastic town of Pinehurst makes for an unforgettable experience!”
The 2026 Sandhills Motoring Expo will once again bring together exceptional automobiles, enthusiasts, and partners for a full weekend of curated experiences in and around the Village of Pinehurst.
